Installing Apps and Modules Outside a Tariff
By default, apps and modules can only be installed in an organization if they are included in the organization’s tariff. Because only platform administrators from bookingtime can add apps or modules to tariffs, an alternative installation method is provided for development and testing purposes.
When you add a new app or module to your developer account, you have two installation options:
Option 1: Use a Test Organization (Recommended for Testing)
For testing purposes, you can create a test organization within your developer account.
All apps and modules available in your developer account are automatically installed in the test organization.
Option 2: Install in an Existing Organization Using an Install Key
- To install an app or module in an existing organization, you can use an install key.
- Open the app or module details in your developer account.
- Copy the install key.Go to the target organization and open the Store.
- Select Install with key.
- Paste the install key and confirm.
The app or module will be installed immediately.
